Farming is a major source of income for more than 70% of families living in remote communities across our region, But from our statistics to find and understand challenges farmers face in remote communities, We discovered the lack of skills and resources to boost productivity, This lack made us to come up with Action Farmers with the aim of eradicating poor climate agriculture practices by training farmers on new climate friendly agriculture techniques, We also use this program as a resource mobilization tool to mobilize basic resources to assist farmers in need located in remote communities across our region. Our program is divided by the following :
Women Climate Center : Its a special capacity building for women farmers located in remote communities with the aim of eradicating poor climate agriculture practices by training women on new climate friendly practices and farm management techniques.
Women organic Training : We train women on how several organic methods they can use in developing organic fertilizers and treatments for their poultry farms. We have touched and transform 500+ farmers since founded.
Financial Literacy : We teach women farmers on how they can manage their finances and scale their businesses
